03/29/2007 Scottish Hunk Voted Sexiest by the Gays

Gay voters have ordained David Tennant as the "sexiest man in the universe" - putting the quirky Dr Who actor before David Beckham, Michael Owen and Brad Pitt.

Tennant was gob-smacked to receive the Pink Paper Awards accolade and commented: "I'm surprised to be thought of like that. Casanova is the only role I've played where you had to look good."

Super-model Jenny Shimizu, who claims to have had a lesbian fling with Angelina Jolie, was voted the world's sexiest woman. Bringing up the rear were Kylie Minogue, Jolie herself and Fame Academy winner, Alex Parks.

The Star also revealed that Tony Blair was voted 'Villain of the Year' while Robbie Williams landed the 'Gay Shame of the Year,' trophy for denying he had had male lovers.
